When your looking for a Wow kitchen, the Coniglioni ticked the boxes.
This kitchen was in planning for about a year as the clients were owner builders working on their home slowly but surely. Obviously a strong Italian feel through the design and selections.
The appliances chosen were only the best starting with the Sub Zero Integrated fridge. This unit has a capacity of 660 litres. An ideal combination with the Wolf Induction cook top and Wolf Canopy Range Hood. The extraction system is quite powerful with the overpowering noise that some models seam to have.
The stainless steel sink under mounted Franke single bowl Was fitted from the top so the rim can overlap the Marble benches. A gorges Provincial tap selected with good use of the optional accessories using the separate mixer control and soap dispenser. There is an additional retractable sprayer as well for those trick objects that the spout can’t get to.
The cabinetry used for the white fronts is painted with a 2Pac Gloss finish.This form of finish is sanded lightly between coats and finally baked in an over to toughen the finish. Fairly square edges on these doors and panels to produce sharp lines.
The Timber doors were Redgum from the Murray River in Country Victoria and were designed with a simple square profile in them. Just a very thin shadow line between the frame and the insert to detail them. These doors and panels were finished in a 30% sheen so as to not over power the white Gloss doors.
The final touch to this kitchen is the significant Calcutta Marble Benches and Splash Backs. A natural stone with a unique series of veins running through it, none the same as any of the others. We created a shadow line just underneath the stone made from Stainless steel to give it the feeling of floating. The kickers used were real stainless steel as well. These kickers will stand up to whatever you put them through.
Last but not least, we provided a fully functioning butlers pantry behind this kitchen. This time with a Gas cook top Canopy Rangehood, built in Microwave, Integrated Dish washer and large wash up bowls.
The open storage shelves was ideal for these clients for their many large pre-planned meals they would need to store. Extra thick shelves provided to cope with heavy bulky item
