Hampton’s Provincial
To start off this new series, we have a Provincial kitchen in a Hampton’s Luxe format. (If you are unsure of styles of kitchens, Click Here To see more.)
This style of kitchen has been popular for a long time and will continue to be for a long time to come. The classic features will never date. The old Chimney breast had to go, clearing the way for a more open feel to the room. A much more Decorative Canopy Box in its place provides a centrepiece.
Prior to the renovation, the kitchen had a very country style, with solid pine framing the space and green laminate benchtops. We wanted to incorporate more traditional features into the space by including fixed panels with painted frames and split drawers and strong feature columns. The Rangehood was brought out towards the centre island and was removed from its cage, now presented with stepped-out posts.
The Archway
As the renovation is completed, a gorgeous archway greets you as you face the kitchen, embracing the true spirit of the Hampton’s charm. We stretched out the Island to with longer sleeker design to connect with a nice flow of the kitchen, whilst adding Incorporated Provincial Posts for the corners of the bench. Centre Panels were inserted between frames to highlight the Columns further. The second colour tone for the island cabinetry adds another dimension to the detail.
The room looks and feels much larger, warmer and more welcoming.
